How it works
The Bosch control team monitors the freight using the Container Security Box (CSB) attached magnetically to the container. The CSB contains a GPS/GSM on-board computer that enables satellite-supported positioning, a passive infrared transmitter to monitor the interior, and power supply components. Unauthorized opening, deviation from the planned route or removal from the authorized location sets off an alarm and automatically informs the Bosch security control team. It receives the position data by text message and can view it on a map. The service team immediately takes the measures agreed with the contractor.

Depending on the contract specifications, either the transportation company, the police or the harbor master are notified immediately. The Mobile Security team uses an international network of professional intervention partners for this purpose.
